Rutgers football is getting involved with a very interesting prospect in freshman prospect Jamarion Parker. Not only is it unusual for the Scarlet Knights to offer a freshman, but they are also doing so in a non-traditional area for recruiting.
Parker is from St. Louis, MO, a region that Rutgers doesn’t traditionally recruit. The class of 2025 running back is already a big contributor at Cardinal Ritter.
Playing a tough schedule last year that included several out-of-state opponents, the Lions went 7-7.
He holds a total of 16 offers already, including Power Five offers from Boston College, Louisville, Michigan, Missouri, Oregon State, Purdue, Texas A&M and West Virginia.
Last week, Parker pulled in offers from Arkansas State, Colorado and Oregon.

The class of 2023 is starting to shape up for Rutgers football with five committed players on the roster. Two of the top 10 players from New Jersey (four-star Jasire Peterson and three-star John Stone) are part of the class.
