The New Orleans Saints continue their regular season domination over the Buccaneers, shutting out Tom Brady’s squad in Tampa, the Ravens lost on yet another controversial coaching decisions, leaving the Packers sitting atop the NFC, the Arizona Cardinals slid down the standings yet again after being beaten (badly) by the Detroit Lions and COVID continues to wreak havoc across the sports world. Plus, Tiger Woods made his tournament debut after suffering severe injuries in a February car crash… and he had some help from his 12-year-old son Charlie.

LIZ LOZA: In the last 72 hours, dozens of NFL players went on and off the COVID list. Multiple NBA games were canceled. The NHL for big Canadian teams from playing American teams until after Christmas.

And Kyrie Irving started the process to return to the nets, only to land in COVID protocols 24 hours later. So, how was your weekend?

Sunday was a success for the Saints though who, with head coach, Sean Payton, sidelined with COVID, marched into Tampa and delivered the Bucs their first home loss of the season.

- He's going to run for it again. [INAUDIBLE] forced the fumble. And the Saints recover with Lattimore.

LIZ LOZA: The Saints have beat the Bucs in their last seven straight regular season meetings.

- They like own.

LIZ LOZA: In a spitting image of Baltimore's loss to the Steelers on December 5, the Ravens trailed the Packers by a point in the final minute of the game.

- There he goes. Huntley, touchdown, Ravens.

LIZ LOZA: And John Harbaugh opted to go for a 2-point conversion for the win instead of a kicking a field goal for the tie.

[CHEERING]

- Fumbling. Pass is broken up.

LIZ LOZA: Losing a third consecutive game is certainly bad news for Baltimore, but the silver lining was Tyler Huntley's performance. Undrafted out of Utah, the second year backup filled in for Lamar Jackson and balled out.

The big winner, of course, was Green Bay who clinched the NFC North and is sitting pretty atop the NFC with an 11 and 3 record. Icing on the cake for the Packers fans was Aaron Rodgers throwing his 442nd touchdown pass, tying Brett Favre's franchise record.

- Valdes-Scantling touchdown, Packers.

LIZ LOZA: Elsewhere in the NFC, the Arizona Cardinals are in late season collapse mode.

- Reynolds in the backfield. Play action. Go, fires. Tough touchdown, Cabinda.

LIZ LOZA: Yup, Arizona got whooped by the Lions.

LIZ LOZA: Arizona started the season 7 and 0 and have since lost four of their last seven games, falling to fourth in the NFC.

- Oh, how the mighty have fallen.

LIZ LOZA: On the bright side, congrats the Lions on winning their second game of the year.

- They got two.

LIZ LOZA: This has got to be the weirdest NFL season ever.

- I feel like I'm taking crazy pills.

LIZ LOZA: There wasn't much to feel good about in the sports world over the weekend.

- Yes, due to COVID.

LIZ LOZA: But, it was fantastic to not only see Tiger Woods play his first tournament since suffering severe injuries in a car accident earlier this year, but to do it alongside his 12-year-old son, Charlie.
