- The Twins were scheduled to play the Red Sox, whose Manager, Alex Cora, said the decision to postpone the game was a simple one. And while that may have been easy, the current situation we're faced in is anything but. It's a full on crisis. Almost a year ago, George Floyd was killed by an officer in Minneapolis, and that trial is happening right now. Current and former athletes are using their voices to make sure that moments like these, which happen far too often, do not go unnoticed. Warriors forward, Eric Paschall, shared his thoughts.

ERIC PASCHALL: We shouldn't be having to fear getting pulled over by the cops because we never know if we would, we're going to make it out alive or not.

- As do Spurs Head Coach, Gregg Popovich.

GREGG POPOVICH: It just makes you sick to your stomachs, this [INAUDIBLE]. How many times does it have to happen?

- Yankees center fielder Aaron Hicks took himself out of Monday's lineup against the Blue Jays, and the Magic and Spurs locked arms at center court for a moment of solidarity. These are great gestures, but we are far beyond gestures and sentiments. We need lawmakers and politicians to take the ball and make true change our else we'll be here in the same position doing the same story all over again.
