JARED QUAY: That was Ben Simmons and Rajon Rondo, making it rain from 3-point land. No word yet if they can do it in games, though. A guy who can win games though, just got paid some money.

- (SINGING) Money. Money. Money. Money. Money.

JARED QUAY: 22-year-old Luka Doncic will sign a $207 million supermax extension with the Dallas Mavericks, which is a lot of cheese. It's also the biggest contract in franchise history. One minute, one paying dirt? That's crazy. And Luka deserves the money. He won Rookie of the Year in 2019, made NBA first team the last two seasons. And when you look at his career stats dude plays better in the playoffs than the regular season. Plus he just led Slovenia's basketball to it's first ever Olympic appearance, in a fourth place finish in Tokyo. The deal comes after the Mavs sent an army to Slovenia to get the deal done, including team owner, Mark Cuban, GM, Nico Harrison, and head coach, Jason Kidd. And some consultant who goes by the name of Dirk Nowitzski. Seems like the deal could have been completed over email, to be honest. But I bet those guys wanted to get over to see Slovenia scenic hikes and casual waterfalls. And signing a generational talent to an extension. That's a pretty good excuse.

Back in the states NBA summer league is underway, but it hasn't been the smoothest of sailing. The Wizards-Pacer game has been postponed because Washington couldn't built a full team due to COVID safety protocols. If that happens in the NFL, we already know the team that can't field enough players takes an automatic L.

Speaking of which-- Lamar Jackson just got off the COVID, list after catching the virus for a second time.

- That's not good.

JARED QUAY: When asked if he's going to get the vaccine, he said he's going to talk it over with doctors and his team. And I wonder how that conversation going to go, right? He's like hey y'all, should I get the vaccine? And they like, I don't know, man, who's got backup quarterback? Trace McSorley. Hell no, bro. You got to get the Pfizer, the Moderna, the Johnson & Johnson, we will take you over to China to get they're vaccine, and Russia to get a vaccine, man. We need you to play. But I will say this. If someone catches the 'Rona a third time, they should definitely get some kind of prize, right? Like maybe a COVID cruise to Slovenia.
