MARK JONES: Great handle to get out of it. Inside. Blocked. Johnson with a putback for the lead. He started with it, and he finished it.

JARED QUAY: A lot of good teams mixed it up in the bubble last night but the only thing that mattered was what happened off the court. Russell Westbrook missed Houston's game yesterday with a strained quad, and his status for the playoffs is uncertain. Damn. They had a chance this year too.

But tonight is a different story. Four teams are vying for the last spot in the West, and they're all in action. So while they figure out who's going to be in the playoffs, we've got to figure out who's going to be allowed to watch them.

- [INAUDIBLE] What do you mean?

JARED QUAY: When the semifinals start later this month, the NBA is planning to allow team guests into the Orlando bubble. Wives and children are obviously allowed, but when the relationship gets complicated, so do the rules.

- What do you mean?

JARED QUAY: Longstanding personal friends are allowed as long as they are, quote, "established."

- What do you-- what do you mean?

JARED QUAY: Got to have at least an Instagram picture with 'em or played high-school ball with them--

[LAUGHTER]

--unless they work for you, in which case they're not welcome. And if you only know this person from a few DMs on Twitter, well-- [LAUGHS]-- you can forget about that.

- Come on!

JARED QUAY: In other words, it's going to be real, real tough to sneak a shorty in that bubble. I mean, she's got to be like a real, real shorty shorty, like under 33 inches, which is obviously shorter than you average shorty.

The point is if you want to get busy in the bubs, you got to put a ring on it, which is actually pretty good advice for Jerry Jones. Dak Prescott and the Cowboys don't have a long-term deal in place, but are still acting polite in public.

Dak said recently that he loved Dallas, and yesterday sun-dried mushroom and Cowboys owner Jerry Jones responded.

JERRY JONES: We think he's outstanding. We think he's our quarterback of the future. We just couldn't get together at this particular time. One of the biggest reason is the backdrop of the COVID.

JARED QUAY: And that ain't the only time he mentioned the 'rona keeping people apart.

JERRY JONES: The Dallas Cowboys plan on playing all of our football games, and we plan on playing it in front of our fans.

JARED QUAY: Hmm, OK. OK, I get it. So fans can come to the stadium because the 'rona ain't that bad, but it's too bad for you to sign the quarterback of the future?

- Does not compute.

JARED QUAY: Oh, I get it. OK, so the 'rona is bad when you've got to pay somebody, but when you receiving money, ain't no 'rona, huh? So when it's time to pay your taxes, give me till 2021. But when you receiving money, ain't no such thing as a virus. It's a hoax.
