- Dwight Powell is in. There's a shot by Doncic. It's good again. He's hit another 3.

JARED QUAY: It was another crazy day of NBA playoff hoops and retirement news. More on the pool and cabana life a little later. But first, the Mavs stole the win from the Clippers in Los Angeles, taking in 3-2 series lead last night. Luka and Cole trying to close out PG, Kawhi, and the rest of the crew on Friday.

- And puts up a 3.

JARED QUAY: Out in Utah, the Jazz brought out their brass instruments in the series win over Ja Morant and the Griz. Utah will play the winner of the Clips and Mavs series.

- Super.

JARED QUAY: Well, that was fast. The Knicks first playoff appearance since 2013 lasted a measly five games, falling to the Hawks in Game 5, 103-89. You can partly think Trae Young, who dropped 36 points on Wednesday, for the Knicks early exit.

- Here's Young, banking it home.

JARED QUAY: A few hours down the road, no Joel Embiid in Game 5 was not a huge problem for the Sixers. Bouncing the Wizards from the playoffs, 129-112, Steph Curry led the 76ers in scoring with 30 points. And the only triple double Russell Westbrook will be having this off season will be from In and Out. Philly will now meet up with Atlanta in Round 2, making his third conference series appearance in four seasons.

Meanwhile, after getting bounced from the first round of the playoffs, Danny Ainge is stepping down as the Celtics President of Basketball Operations and head coach Brad Stevens is now getting promoted. Wait, what? After a .500 season, Boston is making Stevens the next team president? The guy totally deserves it. Zero NBA titles. Some Conference Finals appearances. Nice work to the dude that looks like a youth basketball coach slash frat star. While Brad Stevens is wondering where the pencil sharpener is in his corner office, Danny Ainge will be enjoying that pool and cabana lifestyle, which leads us to this.

Duke head coach Mike Krzyzewski plans to retire after the 21-22 season. Coach K is currently the winningest coach in Division 1 Men's Basketball history, leading the Blue Devils to five National Championships in 41 seasons. Throughout his tenure in Durham, Coach K has produced tons of professional hoopsters, including his replacement, former Duke guard Jon Scheyer, who will become the 20th head coach in the program's history next spring. I wonder if the fans are finally on to Coach K, or maybe it was just former U of A head coach Sean Miller, who has info on him. Either way, dude is trying to get out of college hoops with a squeaky clean record and his super creepy smile.

In other retirement news, after playing in an unknown amount of pickup basketball games this offseason--

- We got Nick.

JARED QUAY: Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski says that Myles Garrett rec basketball career is officially over.

- He retired, so congratulations on a great career for Myles. Really proud of him. But he's done.

JARED QUAY: The Browns all pro posted several dope videos on social media, showcasing his skills on the hardwood. But when you sign a contract worth $100 million in guaranteed money, you do what your coach says. And in this case, that's getting your jersey hung up in the YMCA gym, and you get a happy retirement cake from Baskin Robbins. Enjoy retirement basketball, Myles Garrett.
