The Rush: Deja Vu: Braves up 3-1 on Dodgers… just like last year

The Atlanta Braves won game 4 over the Los Angeles Dodgers, 9-2, setting up the exact same scenario from a year ago when they were up 3-1 in the NLCS before LA won three straight. In the ALCS, the Houston Astros remained hot, winning 9-1 over the Boston Red Sox and going up 3-1 in the series. Over in the NFL, Tom Brady praised Aaron Rodgers new ownership of the Chicago Bears and Kyler Murray had to find out why he was in Myles Garrett’s halloween graveyard.

- In the air, right field, hit well. And this one is a pen outs. A home run for Rosario, a 3 run blast.

JARED QUAY: Uh- oh, LA. The Dodgers are one game away from being eliminated after the Braves took care of business in game 4 of the NLCS.

- Yeah, that ball's hit well into left field, turning and run against Taylor. At the track, the wall, she's gone. Eddie Rosario with a home run.

JARED QUAY: That was the first RBI of the 9-2 Braves victory. Atlanta now finds itself of 3-1 on LA. Sound familiar?

- I'm having a deja vu right now.

JARED QUAY: These two teams were in this exact same position a year ago, then the Dodgers won three straight to get to the World Series. So let's see if history can repeat itself, or not if you're a Brave fan.

- True story.

JARED QUAY: In the ALCS, the Astros stayed hat winning game 5, 9 to 1, and they did it with stellar starting pitching.

- Strikes out, and Framber Valdez in total control.

JARED QUAY: Framber Valdez is the first pitch in the entire postseason to go a full eight innings.

- That's nice.

JARED QUAY: Good starting pitching is so rare these days, it's kind of like finding gold. The W puts the Astros up 3 to 2 and needing just one more win to go to the World Series. Aaron Rodgers has accomplished a lot in his career. And Tom Brady took some time to recognize perhaps, Rodgers greatest achievement of them all.

TOM BRADY: I wanted to say congrats to Aaron Rodgers. Obviously, I know he's a great quarterback, but I guess he's now a shareholder of the Bears.

JARED QUAY: If you haven't heard, Rodgers enthusiastically told the Bears crowd--

AARON RODGERS: I own you. I still own you. I still own you.

JARED QUAY: He still "owns them." I love it. One go recognizing another go for becoming the newest shareholder in Soldier Field. If Rodgers is done with the Packers in football after this season, his ownership in the Bears will still pay dividends, I'm sure.

Let's end this show with a spooky story. Browns defensive end Myles Garrett, who is practically a real life monster has a homemade graveyard in his front yard. Each grave has the name of an opposing quarterback.

- You're a monster.

JARED QUAY: After the Cardinals got done blowing out the Browns on Sunday, Kyler Murray had to find out why Garrett has a tombstone with his name on it in his front yard.

KYLER MURRAY: Why you got me in the graveyard, Dog?

MYLES GARRETT: What?

KYLER MURRAY: Why you got me in the Graveyard?

MYLES GARRETT: I need some added motivation.

KYLER MURRAY: At least my-- didn't have an RIP over it.

MYLES GARRETT: True.

JARED QUAY: First, Kyler looks and sounds like he'll be collecting candy on Halloween. Are we sure he's old enough to play football? Second, good on him for finding a positive spin in the disturbing situation.

Because if anyone has a fake grave with my name on it, ha-ha. I'm getting Colares and he's going to tackle that, man out. I don't want to see that man. That ain't no joke. Why you got a grave of me, man? I'm still alive.
