Alexander Ovechkin has taken this Stanley Cup win as an opportunity to party harder than any human in history. From doing a keg stand out of the Cup to disrobing and jumping into a public fountain, Ovechkin is living his best life.
Not to be outdone is Justify, who completed the Triple Crown with his victorious ride at the Belmont Stakes. Justify became the 13th horse to win the Triple Crown and will surely live a great life as the cash cow for his owners.
While Justify led from the start, the same was not true for USC’s Kendall Harris during the NCAA Track and Field Championships. USC was in deep trouble when Harris began the final leg of the 4×400 relay. Sitting in third place heading into the final turn, Harris turned on the jets and made one of the greatest comebacks you’ll ever see on the track. Her insane run up on Purdue’s Jahneya Mitchell resulted in a photo finish and the win, which earned USC the national championship by a single point over second-place Stanford.
