'Rooting for Roona' doc hits Netflix, 'Shark Tank' returns for season 12 and more of this week's best in pop culture
The Netflix documentary “Rooting for Roona” captures the incredible story of baby Roona Begum. The child was born in India with a condition called Hydrocephalus. It’s a birth defect caused by build-up of fluid in the brain that causes the head to swell. The doc follows Roona’s life-changing surgery. “Rooting for Roona” premieres Thursday, Oct. 15 on Netflix. Everyone’s favorite sharks are back! Season 12 of “Shark Tank” returns — and yes, they’re practicing social distancing.
