With Draymond Green slated to miss at least the next two weeks due to a calf and lower back injury, Steve Kerr will need to add a new face to Golden State’s lineup.

To start a seven-game homestand against the Detroit Pistons on Tuesday, Jonathan Kuminga will get the call in the starting lineup. The 19-year-old rookie will join the starting lineup alongside Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, Andrew Wiggins and Kevon Looney.

During his last three games, Kuminga has tallied a trio of double-figure scoring efforts off the bench. Over that three-game span, Kuminga is averaging 19.7 points on 52.5% shooting from the field with 5.7 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 25.9 minutes per game.

Kuminga and the Warriors are set to meet 2021 No. 1 overall pick Cade Cunningham and the Pistons on Tuesday at 7 p.m. PT at San Francisco’s Chase Center.
