Rondale Moore among Cardinals’ 4 NFLPA player reps
This year, the NFL Players Association has four player representatives from the Arizona Cardinals to help promote player safety and welfare and act as ambassadors for the team.
OLB Dennis Gardeck, CB Antonio Hamilton, WR Rondale Moore and ILB Zaven Collins are all player representatives this year.
The Players Association is in the spotlight following a near-disastrous head injury to Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa in Week 4’s Thursday Night Football contest.
There is plenty of criticism from the NFLPA on how Miami’s medical staff handled a severe head injury from the week prior and subsequently allowing Tagovailoa to play just a few days later.
These four Cardinals will likely be involved in plenty of player safety meetings over the course of this season and will be responsible for being representatives of the NFLPA.
Player representatives are selected by their teammates in the fall of every even-numbered year, according to the NFLPA. Gardeck, Hamilton, Moore and Collins will serve their roles for this season as well as the next.
