Rocky Top Classic: Lady Vols sweep New Hampshire

Tennessee opened the Rocky Top Classic with a sweep of New Hampshire Friday at Thompson-Boling Arena.

The Lady Vols (4-3) prevailed, 25-12, 25-14, 25-12, before an announced crowd of 1,013.

Morgahn Fingall recorded 16 kills and one assist against the Wildcats (5-4).

Erykah Lovett recorded 13 kills and one ace, while Keondreya Granberry finished with seven kills and three blocks.

Natalie Hayward recorded 37 assists and one ace for the Lady Vols, who won its second consecutive match.

Defensively, Paola Laborda, Ashllyn King and Kadynce Boothe totaled 10 kills each.

The Rocky Top Classic continues Saturday as the Lady Vols will play two matches, hosting Norfolk State at noon EDT and The Citadel at 6:30 p.m. EDT.
