BRAD STONEBRAKER: Celtics center Robert Williams has really come into his own lately, particularly in his five-game stretch that ended on New Year's Eve. In those five games, the player who many referred to as "Time Lord," posted averages of 13.2 points, 12.2 rebounds, 4.4 assists, one steal, and three blocks a game, while also notching the first triple double of his career this past Friday.

It's worth noting that he is battling a toe injury that kept him out of Monday's game against the Magic. But he was questionable going in, which leads us to believe that it will likely be a short term issue. Williams' fantasy value does have a couple of small blemishes given that he doesn't hit any triples. And he's shooting in the low 60s from the free throw line.

But the free throw volume isn't nearly enough to hurt you drastically. And he more than makes up for it with fantastic field goal percentage, solid rebounding, elite shot blocking, and a good portion of steals just being the cherry on top. He may have gotten off to a bit of a slow start, but if you've held on to Williams and trusted him so far, you are surely reaping the benefits and should continue to do so for the second half of the season.
