Robert Kraft doesn’t miss chance to take well-timed shot at Jets

New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft didn’t waste an opportunity to have a little fun at the expense of the rival New York Jets.

With the World Cup coming to Boston in 2026, Kraft talked about the greatness of an event that brings people all over the world together. He then went on to make the hilarious comparison to the Patriots “kicking butt against the Jets” doing the same thing.

“The world we’re living in now, we need the World Cup more than ever, because seeing all of the communities from different parts of the world gather together and celebrate and really be excited in a way— that I guess only when the Patriots are kicking butt on the Jets, that’s the same feeling.” Kraft said, when speaking with media members.

Even as bad as the Patriots were in 2022, they still managed to sweep the Jets the two times the teams played one another. The Jets have perennially been a team that the Patriots seem to always have their number.

It remains to be seen if that will change with the arrival of legendary quarterback Aaron Rodgers in 2023.
