NFL players — they’re just like us.
After a long, hard day at work, all they want to do is plop down in a comfy chair and watch some sports. New York Jets wide out Robby Anderson took that to a new level after finding himself open for a touchdown in Miami.
Anderson had more than a few steps on his defender as Josh McCown hit him in stride with a bullet for the Jets’ second TD of the day. Which led to an amazing troll of a celebration as Anderson jumped into the stands and squatted in some empty seats.
It’s not enough to score an easy touchdown, Anderson has to remind the Dolphins that few are there to see it. Maybe it’s a blessing in disguise for Miami. That seat looks incredibly comfortable and Anderson gave it some free publicity. If it’s good enough for an NFL player, it should be good enough for Dolphins fans.
Miami ranks in the bottom third in league attendance, so don’t be surprised if they count Anderson among their crowd Sunday.
Anderson’s other highlight from the game wasn’t so joyous. He got a terrible penalty in the final seconds of the Jets’ 31-28 defeat for tossing his helmet in frustration.
