Nate Diaz could potentially find himself in title contention if he can get past one of the hottest contenders in the UFC’s welterweight division.

Diaz (20-12 MMA, 15-10 UFC) meets the streaking Leon Edwards (18-3 MMA, 10-2 UFC) in a five-round non-title fight at UFC 263, which takes place June 12 at Gila River Arena in Glendale, Ariz. The main card airs on pay-per-view following prelims on ESPN and ESPN+.

Ahead of his matchup with Edwards, Diaz provided a preview of his fight camp, where he revealed what motivated him to take the matchup.
