Kings fans uttered a resounding "uh oh" after the team's winless start through four games of the 2022-23 NBA season.

Lydecia Holmes, mother to Kings center Richaun Holmes, told fans to relax and give coach Mike Brown and the team some time to figure things out.

After Sacramento's 119-113 victory over the Miami Heat on Saturday, Holmes' words of wisdom rang true.

"This team has to gel and sometimes that takes a few," Holmes posted to Twitter early Saturday morning. "So just chill."

The Kings backed up Holmes' words in the first half later that night, outscoring Miami 71-49 in the first half. But Sacramento watched as the Heat, led by Tyler Herro's 34 points, stormed back to make it a one-possession game in the final quarter.

However, unlike the previous four games, the Kings held strong and outscored Miami 15-11 in the final six minutes to secure their first victory.

Richaun Holmes did his part, logging five points and four rebounds in a season-high 21 minutes. He filled in for Domantas Sabonis after the Kings' star center fouled out of the game with 5:52 left.

Sacramento still has its work cut out for them. They now hit the road for a four-game trip, beginning with a tilt against the Charlotte Hornets at Spectrum Center on Monday.
