Reports: Sixers, Bjelica agree on 1-year deal

The Philadelphia 76ers and former Minnesota Timberwolves forward Nemanja Bjelica have agreed to terms on a one-year contract, according to multiple reports Thursday.

The Sixers will reportedly use their $4.4 million room mid-level exception to sign Bjelica.

Bjelica, 30, has spent all three of his seasons in the NBA with the Timberwolves after a handful of years playing overseas in Spain (2010-13) and Turkey (2013-15), including winning the EuroLeague MVP in 2015. The Washington Wizards selected Bjelica in the second round of the 2010 NBA Draft before trading his rights to the Timberwolves.

With the Wolves last season, the Serbian averaged careers highs of 6.8 points, 4.1 rebounds and 20.5 minutes in 67 games (21 starts). He hit 41.5 percent of his 3-point attempts.

For his NBA career, Bjelica has averaged 6.1 points and 3.8 rebounds in 192 games (22 starts).
