Reports: Jaguars to re-sign WR Lee, add ex-Colts WR Moncrief

The Jacksonville Jaguars will retain free-agent wideout Marqise Lee and add former Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Donte Moncrief, according to multiple reports on Tuesday.

According to an NFL Network report, Lee's agreement is for four years and $38 million, with $18 million guaranteed. Moncrief will earn approximately $7 million on a one-year deal, with a maximum value of $9.6 million available through incentives, per ESPN.

The moves help reinforce Jacksonville's receiving corps after Allen Robinson agreed to sign with the Chicago Bears early Tuesday morning. The Jaguars also have Keelan Cole (42 catches for 748 yards in 2017), Allen Hurns (39 for 484) and Dede Westbrook (27 for 339) under contract, with Cole and Westbrook just one year into their rookie deals.

Lee, 26, had 56 catches for 702 yards and three touchdowns across 14 games in 2017, his first campaign as a full-time starter. He posted a career-high 851 receiving yards in 2016.

The former second-round pick out of USC has 171 catches for 2,166 yards and eight scores through four NFL seasons.

Moncrief, 24, caught 64 passes for 733 yards and six touchdowns in 2015 but has just 56 receptions since, with Andrew Luck out of the lineup for much of that span. Moncrief grabbed seven touchdowns on just 30 catches in 2016, though he managed only two scores in 2017.

The former third-round pick out of Ole Miss has 152 catches for 1,875 yards and 18 scores through four NFL seasons.
