Report: Spurs to sign undrafted forward Seth Millner to two-way contract

Former Toledo forward Seth Millner has reportedly agreed to sign a two-way contract with the San Antonio Spurs, according to Michael Scotto of HoopsHype.

Millner earned All-MAC second-team honors last season after averaging 16.1 points, 5.9 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.1 steals as a senior. He was one of two players in the conference to rank inside the top 15 in field-goal percentage (49.6), free-throw percentage (78.4) and 3-point percentage (42.0).

The 6-foot-4 Millner played with the Spurs in summer league, averaging 5.2 points, 3.2 rebounds and one assist in five appearances between Sacramento and Las Vegas. He produced his best game on July 14 with eight points and five rebounds.

Millner will split his time this season between San Antonio and the Austin Spurs in the G League. He is eligible to spend no more than 50 games in the NBA and will earn a flat salary equal to 50% of the minimum salary applicable to a player with zero years of service.

The Spurs open the preseason on Oct. 9 at Oklahoma City.
