The Ohio State Basketball team has two commits in its 2024 recruiting class, but neither plays in the front court.
Head coach Chris Holtmann is looking for a big man, and he has narrowed the search to North Carolina’s Jayden Quaintance. The 6-foot, 9-inch, 230-pound center is a bit on the smaller side for the position, but that hasn’t stopped the Buckeyes from recruiting him for the spot.
The rankings don’t care much about his size either. He’s third among centers and 11th overall according to the 247Sports composite. Ohio State offered Quaintance in May. According to 24/7 High School Hoops, he plans to make an official visit on the weekend of Sept. 9.
2024 5⭐️ Jayden Quaintance will take an official visit to Ohio State beginning September 9th, a source tells me.
