Report: Notre Dame will host 5-star defensive end in early June
At the current moment, Notre Dame football has one of the best 2024 recruiting classes in the nation. With eight current commits, Irish head coach Marcus Freeman is looking to continue to add to the already impressive group.
One of the players they are targeting is Arizona defensive end Elijah Rushing. The 6-foot, 6-inch and 235 pound edge defender is viewed as one of the best players in the country, ranking as the second edge and 18th overall player in the nation by the 247Sports composite.
Today, according to multiple outlets, Rushing has scheduled an official visit to South Bend from June 9-11th.

At the current moment, Owen Wafle is the only defensive end committed in the class and Rushing would be the top rated commit if he were to join.
