Kentucky outside linebacker Josh Allen is only a junior. He arrived in Lexington as a three-star recruit according to Rivals.com.

So far he has exceeded expectations in a big way. He had 7.5 sacks last year and already has 5.5 through five games in 2017.

Now, according to a report Wednesday, there's some buzz in the football community that he could be a first round pick ... after this season.

According to Charlie Campbell of WalterFootball.com, "Sources from multiple teams say that the Wildcats' Josh Allen could end up being a first-round pick in the 2018 NFL Draft as well."

The story continued, "One national scout compared Allen to Leonard Floyd coming out of Georgia with Allen's ability to rush off the edge. That scout said Allen isn't as freaky of an athlete as Floyd was, and Allen is not a top-10 pick, but he did grade Allen as a first-rounder."
