Report: Eagles DT Jernigan has broken foot

A week after Philadelphia lost defensive tackle Malik Jackson for the season to a foot injury, the Eagles may have lost defensive tackle Tim Jernigan for a significant amount of time with a foot injury.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported Jernigan could miss "roughly a month," while Pro Football Talk characterized the injury as a broken foot and said he could be out for the year.

Jernigan took over for Jackson and tallied a sack in the season-opening win against Washington. He was injured during Sunday's loss at Atlanta and taken for X-rays.

Jernigan, who turns 27 on Sept. 24, has 16.5 career sacks in 64 games with the Baltimore Ravens (2014-16) and Eagles (2017-19).
