DeRozan has been with Nike throughout his entire career, specifically wearing shoes from Kobe Bryant’s legendary Nike collection.
For DeRozan, who grew up in Compton, was a Lakers fan as a kid and idolized the late NBA legend. Wearing his shoes, and mirroring his game after Kobe, is Deebo’s way of honoring his hero.
Across the league, DeRozan is known for having one of, if not the most, extensive, exclusive collection of Kobe’s shoes.
