With the NBA players still left in the Orlando Bubble deciding to resume the remainder of the 2020 NBA playoffs, Trail Blazers All-Star Damian Lillard is set to begin his rehab.
Thursday, Lillard departed Orlando for further examination on his right sprained knee.
Lillard is reportedly on his way to go see team doctors and according to ESPNs Marc Spears, no surgery is expected on his injured knee.

Portland Trail Blazers guard Damian Lillard will leave the NBA campus in Orlando on Thursday and return to Portland for further examination of his injured right knee. Lillard sustained a right lateral knee sprain in Game 4 of Portland's first-round playoff series against the Los Angeles Lakers on Monday. Lillard's availability to return to the Orlando campus is yet to be determined. Further updates will be provided as necessary.
The injury occurred at the 7:15 mark of the third quarter, Lillard went to the locker room at the point, but then returned to the court briefly before checking back out again and returning to the locker room for the rest of the game.
Wednesday's Game 5 of the Trail Blazers and Lakers first round series was postponed along with all of the other series Game 5 contests with the NBA making a stand and calling for a change in America.
Now down their All-Star point guard and down 1-3 in their first round series against the No. 1 seeded Lakers, the Trail Blazers are currently waiting to see when play will resume.
Thursdays games are also postponed, but the NBA is reportedly targeting Friday as the potential resumption of play.
