Report: Clippers to sign G Kilpatrick to 10-day contract
The Los Angeles Clippers are signing guard Sean Kilpatrick to a 10-day contract, according to a report from ESPN.
Kilpatrick was waived by Milwaukee on Friday to make room for Shabazz Muhammad, whose deal with the Bucks became official Sunday.
Appearing in 23 games for Milwaukee this season, Kilpatrick averaged 4.0 points and 1.1 rebounds in 8.9 minutes per game.
He averaged 13.1 points and 4.0 rebounds in 70 games (24 starts) with the Brooklyn Nets last season.
The 28-year-old began the season with Brooklyn and played in 16 games for the Nets, averaging 4.9 points and 2.2 rebounds in 11.4 minutes per contest. He was waived by Brooklyn on Dec. 7.
The undrafted product out of Cincinnati has averaged 10.1 points and 2.8 rebounds in 144 games across his four seasons in the NBA.
Kilpatrick will be eligible for the NBA playoffs.
