The tools you need are an impact ratchet, a 10 millimeter socket and a 12 millimeter socket. So let's get started. The first thing that we're going to do is locate where the bolts that are holding the hood are, and it's going to be located right over here. This specific one is held on by two bolts, and so we're going to go ahead and loosen them and then use our power tool to loosen them even more to remove them, and then we're going to do the same thing on both sides. And that's basically about it. So let's get into it.

Notice how I'm not turning on the power tool yet. Not yet. We're going to loosen them first. OK, so now we're going to go ahead and use the power tool. My favorite part. Lefty loosey. Here it goes. That's one, and remember, whenever we take off any part of the car, we've got to remember where we put them. I'm going to put mine in my pocket.

Then-- right, bada Bing, bada boom. Two bolts out. Now we've got to do the same thing to the other side. OK, so now we're going to take the old hood out and swap it for the new one. Thank you, guys. So I'm super excited to put this new one in because this is made out of carbon fiber material. Carbon fiber material is actually more lighter than the regular stock and OEM hood, which is made out of either fiberglass or wood. It's going to make the car go a little bit faster since it is lighter.

It's a lot of weight reduction for the car. So now that we got the hood right over here, we're just going to match along the brackets to the bolts and place them right on here. And then I'm just going to grab my handy dandy nuts that connect here and then we're going to hand tighten them. Now that they're there, I can grab the power tool. Make sure it's going to the right, which is righty tighty, and we're going to tighten these bolts.

So now that we finish this side, we're going to do the same thing to the opposite side and that is it, easy as pie. I'm hungry. OK, so now that both brackets on both sides are secure, we can go ahead and pull this thing down. Now watch the magic. Well, that's not supposed to happen. Oh, I have to push harder. Brand new hood! Literally so easy.
