Steve Irwin’s legacy continues to live on, thanks to his children and his many fans.
Irwin, the beloved Crocodile Hunter, died while working on the underwater film "Ocean’s Deadliest" in 2006 after a stingray attacked him. He was just 44 and left behind daughter Bindi, who was 8 at the time, and son Robert, only 2.
Bindi, now 20 years old, has kept her father’s memory alive. She, her brother and mother travel the world promoting the nonprofit Irwin started, Wildlife Warriors, an organization established to educate people on endangered species.
Bindi has said not a day goes by where she doesn’t think about her father: “We want to make sure everything he lived and died for continues on into the future.”
