It was the Damian Lillard show on Friday night at Moda Center as the Trail Blazers hosted the Nets.
Lillard played 40 minutes in the game while shooting 19 for 33 including 7 of 16 from the three-point line. Add on a perfect 15 for 15 from the free throw line and you have yourself both a career high and franchise record setting night. Total points... 60.
Lillard's previous career high was 59 points vs. Utah on April 8th, 2017. That 59 was also a franchise high.
The final three points of Lillard's record setting night came on a meaningless buzzer three pointer deep from the left hash mark.
The Trail Blazers have not won a game at home yet this season.
Social media reacted to Lillard's epic game, despite the loss:

Gotta take a deep breath and remember we're only 10 games into the season #ripcity

Lillard emptied the full clip tonight. He needs help or it's going to be a very long season. #RipCity
