Recap: USC's John Beller strikes out nine Beavers in seven shutout innings to pick up win

Beller, who struck out nine Beavers in seven innings of three-hit ball, improved to 2-2 on the season. Trojans' second baseman Tyler Pritchard went 2-for-3 on the day with an RBI. Oregon State pitcher Bryce Fehmel came out on the wrong side of the pitchers' duel, but turned in an impressive 6.1 innings allowing just two runs to cross the plate.
