Recap: Pac-12/Big Ten Challenge opens with straight-set victory for No. 11 Oregon over No. 18 Penn State, No. 14 Stanford falls to No. 13 Minnesota

Pac-12 Networks' Rich Burk and Nicole Rigoni recap the first day of the women's volleyball Pac-12/Big Ten Challenge on Friday, Sept. 10 in Eugene. No. 14 Stanford women's volleyball fell in the opener to No. 13 Minnesota by a final match score of 3-1. Kendall Kipp finished with eight kills and six blocks for the Cardinal as Stanford moves to 3-2 overall. In the nightcap, No. 11 Oregon won in straight sets over No. 18 Pennsylvania State to remain undefeated on the season at 6-0. Senior outside hitter Taylor Borup combined for seven kills, 12 digs and the game-winning block against the Gophers.
