From Cosmopolitan

  • Clare Crawley has given out her First Impression Rose to one of her lucky guys, and of course, Reality Steve had alllll the details.

  • If it isn’t abundantly clear, there are major spoilers ahead. Read at your own risk!

After Clare Crawley’s season of The Bachelorette was postponed for months due to coronavirus, she was finally—FINALLY!—able to start filming, putting millions of devoted Bachelor Nation fans at ease. And because we were all patient, we got some ~exclusive~ footage of Clare doing scenes for the show, thanks to the Daily Mail. But now, we’re getting treated to even more—Reality Steve just shared who got Clare’s First Impression Rose today!

On Twitter, Steve revealed that the lucky man to get the first rose is Dale Moss. “Although early social media activity was leading people to believe he never made it on the show or was eliminated night one, that was never the case,” he wrote. “Dale Moss received Clare’s First Impression Rose.”

And it looks like people are rooting for him to win, because a little birdie told Life & Style that Clare was ready to quit the show because she allegedly “fell in love” with Dale after 12 days of filming. Steve later called the story false and said that Clare is under contract so that literally could never happen.

Since you’re totally dying to know more about this dreamboat, here’s a quick primer on Dale. First of all, he’s 31 and 6'3" (!). He was previously an NFL football player with the Green Bay Packers, the Chicago Bears, and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. According to his Instagram (which is, sadly, private now because he’s on the show), he’s also a global ambassador for the Special Olympics. He models, too, which makes perfect sense because he looks like this:
