We are just a little less than two days away from the end of the NBA’s 2024 trade deadline, with the Boston Celtics and the rest of the league looking to make moves to improve their teams in whatever goals that ball club has. In the case of the Celtics, that would be hanging Banner 18, and with an open roster spot, a $6.2 million traded player exception and plenty of contracts in the deep rotation to move, Boston is well-positioned.
With names like Kelly Olynyk and Delon Wright floating around as potential trade targets that the Celtics would truthfully find difficult to make the salary work, are there more realistic options out there? What about the often-floated big man target, Andre Drummond? Or a player entirely outside of recent rumbles?
The hosts of the CLNS Media “Still Poddable” podcast sorted through the options on a recent episode.
