Pierce has impressed so far:

Pierce delivered a message last week to Bearcats Nation:

"Very very smart individual. ... This guy has legit 4.4 speed. ... Him and Michael Pittman together is going to be phenomenal. Absolutely phenomenal," ESPN draft analyst Louis Riddick said.

Later in the second round, the Kansas City Chiefs took UC safety Bryan Cook. In the third round, Bearcats quarterback Desmond Ridder went to the Atlanta Falcons, and defensive end Myjai Sanders was selected 100th overall by the Arizona Cardinals.
