Ahmad "Sauce" Gardner, standout cornerback for the Cincinnati Bearcats for the past three seasons, showed why he's expected to be among the top picks in the 2022 NFL Draft at the NFL Scouting Combine, where his official 40-yard dash time was 4.41 seconds.

Social media reactions to Gardner's impressive effort in Indianapolis that caught the attention of many NFL teams:

Peter King on Gardner, in King's "Football Morning in America" column for NBC Sports:

I think the player that seems most interesting to me high in the draft is Cincinnati cornerback Sauce Gardner. He’s a 6-3 corner who never allowed a touchdown in his last three years of coverage, in 1,100 snaps. He’ll need to bulk up a little, but a 4.41-in-the-40 corner that size is special, and he’ll certainly go in the top eight or 10.
