RCTC women improve to 11-2 with 64-40 road win at St. Cloud

Jan. 7—ST. CLOUD — The Rochester Community and Technical College women's basketball team won its third straight game and second straight in league play with a 64-40 victory over St. Cloud Technical and Community College on Saturday.

Jada James led the Yellowjackets, ranked No. 1 among Division III NJCAA teams, with 17 points. James shot 7-for-11 from the field and also had five rebounds.

Aniyah Reuben came off the bench to score 15 points for RCTC while guard Macaya Copeland had 12 points, seven rebounds and eight assists. Sophie Andring added seven rebounds as RCTC controlled the boards 36-25.

RCTC is now 11-2 overall and 2-0 in the South Division of the MCAC.
