Thursday was a huge day for Ravens All-Pro cornerback Marlon Humphrey, who agreed to a massive five-year contract extension to stay in Baltimore.
By just about any statistic, Humphrey is one of the most prolific shutdown cornerbacks in the NFL. Not only can he shut down opponents' top receiving options week in and week out, but he's also shown an ability to move inside and play slot corner when the team needs it.
He's a critical piece, and perhaps the Ravens' best overall player not named Lamar Jackson.
The 2017 first-round pick is now both the highest-paid player in the NFL under the age of 25 and also the highest-paid Alabama player ever.
Unsurprisingly, for a player as appreciated in the locker room as Humphrey is, his Ravens teammates took to Twitter after the announcement to celebrate with and congratulate their superstar cornerback.

And of course, there's the man of the hour himself, describing himself in a way that will warm the hearts of Ravens fans everywhere.
