Ravens reportedly decline fifth-year option of ILB Patrick Queen
The last few press conferences that General Manager Eric DeCosta was speaking at, he was asked about Patrick Queen and the fifth-year option. He was always noncommittal, always deflecting. Now we know the answer.
Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic is reporting that the Ravens will not pick up Patrick Queen’s fifth year option. That means, unless a trade can be made before the season starts, this is his last year in Baltimore.

Ravens declining Queen's option for '24 seemed likely even before they used 3rd rounder on Clemson ILB Trenton Simpson. They like Queen and he's gotten better every yr, but w/Roquan Smith on books at $20 mill per ($13.5 cap hit in '24), tough to commit so much to ILB position
