After suffering a season-ending ankle injury Sunday against the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Baltimore Ravens have officially placed OT Ronnie Stanley on Injured Reserve, ESPN's Adam Schefter reported Tuesday afternoon.

Stanley, 26, inked a five-year, $98.75 million deal prior to the start of the season. Stanley's loss is a crushing blow to an already underwhelming Ravens' offense.

Stanley took to Twitter to reflect on the injury and look ahead to the future, Sunday.

"So many emotions running thru my head. I’m thankful for all the love and support. I hate feeling like i let my brothers down," Stanley said. "What I do know is God doesn’t make mistakes and I’m grateful for the bad days just as much as the good. Just another challenge to overcome. Truzzz"
