The Baltimore Ravens lost to the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 16 of the 2021 season. They had to play many new faces due to injuries and COVID, but there were a few familiar ones who were able to suit up as well.

One of those familiar faces was tight end Mark Andrews, who had a monster day in Cincinnati. Ravens head coach John Harbaugh was asked about Mark Andrews’ high level of play over the course of the year despite having three different quarterbacks throwing him the football. Harbaugh lauded the tight end’s ability to perform and make those around him better.

“It’s certainly a testament to Mark’s [Andrews] ability. I do think the really, really, really good players and great players, like Mark is – a great player, make players around them better, too. So, it really doesn’t affect their play too much too often. Mark is that kind of a player, and he’s playing exactly the way I expect him to. I’m really pleased with how he’s playing.”

Some players and their performances might change depending on the style of quarterbacking that they’re working with. Andrews is proving to everyone around the league that he’s one of the top tight ends in all of football. No matter who is throwing him the ball, Andrews will make plays that have an impact on the game.
