Ravens HC John Harbaugh gives update on status of QB Lamar Jackson for Week 15

The Baltimore Ravens are set to take on the Green Bay Packers in Week 15 at M&T Bank Stadium. There are many storylines that could have a massive impact on the result, but one of them is the status of Baltimore quarterback Lamar Jackson.

Jackson suffered an ankle injury in Week 14 against the Cleveland Browns and didn’t practice all week leading up to the Ravens’ game with Green Bay. When asked about Jackson’s status, Baltimore head coach John Harbaugh said that the quarterback “has a chance”, but if he isn’t able to play they will roll with Tyler Huntley.

“I’d say he has a chance. It’s just one of those things where … It’s an ankle sprain; if he starts feeling good and everything is alright, we’ll check him out, probably pregame. He’s in all the preparations and all of that. We’ll see where we’re at. But if not, we have Tyler [Huntley], and he’ll be ready to go, also.”

With the fourth-year signal caller not practicing all week, it wouldn’t be shocking to see Huntley get the call to start in Week 15 while Jackson rests for Week 16 against the Cincinnati Bengals. Huntley has proven that he can make big plays and lead the Ravens to victory, so even if Jackson sits Baltimore will have a chance to win.
