Ravens G Kevin Zeitler details what it’s like having C Bradley Bozeman as a teammate

The Baltimore Ravens saw an up-and down year from their offensive line over the course of the 2021 season. The unit was marred by injuries for much of the year, although they did get consistent, quality play out of a few players on the line, including center Bradley Bozeman and guard Kevin Zeitler.

Zeitler was asked about what it’s like to have Bozeman as a teammate, and the veteran guard had nothing but praise for the fourth-year center, even going as far as to say that he hopes that Bozeman returns to Baltimore in 2022.

“He’s been great. Right off the bat when I signed here, he reached out right away and welcomed me, my wife and my family. It’s been great on and off the field with him. We had a really good rapport going with each other. I love playing next to him, and I think we’re doing some really good things. I really hope he’s back here next year.”

Bozeman is scheduled to hit unrestricted free agency during the 2022 offseason after his first full season of playing center at the NFL level. The center moved back to the position after playing left guard over the first few years of his professional career, but had played center in college at the University of Alabama.

Zeitler signed a three-year, $22.5 million deal in the 2021 offseason, and immediately solidified the right side of the line. He recently said that retirement hasn’t crossed his mind, and if Bozeman returns to the Ravens he will be there to play with his running mate once again.
