Ravens draft Tyre Phillips out of Mississippi State with the 106th pick in the NFL Draft

On the Ravens' final pick of their busy third round, and the third round in its entirety, they selected guard Tyre Phillips out of Mississippi State. He was the team's fifth and final pick of day two and fourth pick of the third round. 

Phillips played left tackle for the last two seasons at Mississippi State. He's 6-foot-5 and 331 pounds and could play at tackle or guard in the NFL. 

He bench pressed 225 pounds 22 times at the NFL Combine and figures to compete right away for playing time. He also played at East Mississippi Community College in 2015 and 2016, the school made popular by the Netflix show "Last Chance U."
