The Baltimore Ravens have heard themselves listed as a team to watch any potential Julio Jones sweepstakes for a long time. Now, with the recent news that the Atlanta Falcons would “like” to trade the star wide receiver, Baltimore has popped up again as a possible destination.

The DraftKings Sportsbook put out their odds for which team Jones will suit up for in 2021. While Atlanta has the best chance to have Jones on their roster come Week 1, the Ravens aren’t far behind.

According to DraftKings, Baltimore is tied for the fourth-best odds to land Jones at +700. They share those odds with the New England Patriots, but with recent news coming out about Jones having interest in New England and the Patriots looking to do their due diligence, New England could see their odds increase.

While the Ravens would instantly improve their Super Bowl chances by acquiring Jones, it doesn’t seem likely that they’ll actually make the move. The former University of Alabama pass catcher has a hefty contract, is getting up there in age, has dealt with injuries over the course of his career, and would cost a lot of draft capital to trade for. With Baltimore also investing a lot into the wide receiver position during the offseason, it seems like they’d rather trust the players they already have on their roster as opposed to jumping through a plethora of hoops to acquire Jones. The Falcons star is one of the best receivers in the league and would make the Ravens better on offense, but while the odds say that Baltimore is one of the favorites to land his services, it would be a bit of a surprise if the Ravens actually made a play to bring him to Charm City.
