Ravens add multiple talented playmakers in 7-round 2023 mock draft by The Draft Network

The Baltimore Ravens currently have five selections in the 2023 NFL draft as it stands. They hold the 22nd overall pick in the first round, which they could use on a prospect or look to trade for more draft capital, as the team doesn’t have a second-round selection due to sending it away in the deal for inside linebacker Roquan Smith.

When assembling a seven-round 2023 mock draft for Baltimore, Justin Melo of The Draft Network added multiple talented playmakers to the Ravens roster. With pick No. 22, he added TCU wide receiver Quentin Johnson, saying that the pick would immediately address the team’s need at the wide receiver position.

“Drafting Quentin Johnston would immediately address the Ravens’ need at receiver. Johnston’s athletic profile pairs size with game-changing speed. There’s little Johnston can’t do. When he’s not threatening defenses vertically, Johnston can create yards for himself post-catch by making tacklers miss in the open field. New offensive coordinator Todd Monken would appreciate an opportunity to plug Johnston into his offense.”

Melo then has Baltimore selecting Iowa State edge rusher Will McDonald IV in the third round at No. 86, South Carolina cornerback Darius Rush in the fourth round at pick No. 125, Old Dominion offensive lineman Nick Saldiveri in the fifth round at No. 160, and Ole Miss wide receiver Jonathan Mingo in the sixth round at pick No. 200.
