Raptors Way will now represent the section or Bremner Blvd. that stretches through Maple Leaf Square, right outside of Scotiabank Arena.

Toronto mayor John Tory stopped by for the unveiling to say a few words.

”So what we did is we renamed this part of the street of Bremner Boulevard, Raptors Way in the Maple Leaf Square,” said Tory.

β€œAnd that’s a tribute to our team β€” our fantastic Raptors who won last year and made us so proud β€” and we’re going to win again this year.”

Beyond the bold prediction, Toronto clearly recognizes the impact that the championship team had on the city.

The memories and the street sign will no doubt last a very long time in Toronto.
