Ranking the Pac-12 men’s basketball head coaches salaries for 2021-22

March Madness is here!

The Pac-12 Conference has just three teams in the NCAA Tournament (UCLA, Arizona and USC) in a bit of a rough year for the conference.

Sure, a couple of teams made the NIT, including the Colorado Buffaloes. But, the Buffs got ousted early in a tough loss to St. Bonaventure in Boulder on Tuesday.

Still, the Pac-12 is a strong conference, and the head coaches are earning quite a bit of cash as well.

Here are the 12 head coaches’ salaries for men’s basketball, ranked from lowest to the highest with bonuses excluded.

Tad Boyle this low is surprising, and the Buffaloes’ head coach could be deserving of a raise. His salary for 2021-2022 was $2.425 million.

MICK CRONIN, UCLA

Kelley L Cox-USA TODAY Sports

The 11-seeded UCLA Bruins shocked everybody with a magical run in the NCAA Tournament a year ago.

Cronin now makes $3.7 million, second-best in the Pac-12.

Moral of the story: Go deep in March Madness and get some nice cash.

DANA ALTMAN, OREGON

Soobum Im-USA TODAY Sports

Dana Altman barely edges out Cronin, earning $3,759,500.

For fun, Bill Self is No. 1 in college hoops with an eye-popping $10,164,282 per year. Yeah, that is big time money.
