The New England Patriots have the most cap space before 2024 NFL free agency, at $101,771,054.

They are followed by the Washington Commanders, at $91,542,471 and the Chicago Bears at $78,677,957.

The Tennessee Titans ($75,817,844) and Indianapolis Colts ($70,292,419) round out the Top 5.

Seven NFL teams currently have a negative cap space number for the 2024 season, which could lead to some interesting offseason moves and decisions for each club.

The Buffalo Bills are at -41,313,381, with the Miami Dolphins next at -31,638,623.

The Los Angeles Chargers (-25,674,997), New Orleans Saints (-17,102,634), Denver Broncos (-16,354889), Dallas Cowboys (-10,603,247) and San Francisco 49ers (-285,281) are also in the red entering the NFL free agency period.
