Rangers winger Artemi Panarin was back on the ice at practice on Monday.

Speaking after practice, head coach Gerard Gallant said that if the Rangers were playing on Wednesday (that game has been postponed due to COVID-19), Panarin would be back in the lineup.

That means Panarin should be set to return when the Rangers resume their schedule next Monday against the Detroit Red Wings.

Panarin left last Wednesday's win over the Coyotes in Arizona after accumulating seven minutes of ice time due to what Gallant called a "minor lower-body injury."

Panarin has nine goals and 24 assists in 29 games this season, with a +/- of 5.

In addition to Panarin, goaltender Igor Shesterkin is also expected to be ready to go next Monday.
